How to manage Virtual Domain Email Accounts
Logining in to management site.
From here there are many options. Here are some of the more important things
you may want to do.
Add/Remove an email account
- Login to management site.
- Click on Pop Accounts.
- To add a new email account click on Create Pop Account.
- In the Pop Account field enter the first part of the email address you want. The email address will be POPACCOUNT@yourdomain.com
- Then enter the password for the email account and the Full name.
- Click Add.
- To remove an account, click on Pop Accounts.
- Next click on the red button that says Delete Account.
Aliases
Aliases allow for email coming to one address or alias to get put in
a different pop accounts incoming email box. So if your email address was
jsmith@domain.com and you wanted email going to sales@domain.com to come to
you, you can set up sales as an alias rather than a pop account.
- Login to management site.
- Click on Aliases.
- Click on Add New Alias.
- Select the pop account you want the alias to point to.
- Enter a name for the alias.
- Click Add.
Forwards
Forwards allow mail sent to one of your pop accounts to be forwarded
to a different email address at another domain. So if you had the email
address jsmith@domain.com, you could forward all incoming mail to your
hotmail account jsmith@hotmail.com
- Login to management site.
- Click on Forwards.
- Click on Add New Forward.
- Enter the email address you want to forward to.
- Enter the Pop Account name whose mail should get forwarded.
- Click Add.
